This course explores the components critical to fostering a Growth Mindset based on research by Carol Dweck. Class participants will investigate ways to develop a Growth Mindset within themselves as a model, the students, and the learning environment. Attendees will participate in experiential activities, personal and collaborative reflection, and action planning to develop innovative practices and procedures as well as engaging instructional strategies that can be immediately implemented.
